Oh, what a lovely month November has been in the adoption world! It is only the seventh day of this beautiful month, and FOUR referrals have already been given out by our adoption agency. I have become an official stalker of our group's Facebook page, and it seems like whenever I look, a new referral has gone out. I have no idea if this is normal, but I am most certainly NOT complaining!
It has been so amazing to see the Lord match these beautiful children with their families. I love reading the posts announcing family referrals. The parents are always so excited. Another child with a forever family. In those moments, I am reminded that there is a similar scene going on in heaven every time someone opens his/her heart to Jesus as Lord and Savior, because that means another son or daughter of the Most High has been adopted into his/her forever family (only the forever part is waaaaaaay longer!). Adoption is such a beautiful picture of the Gospel.
Last month, Adam and I prayed specifically that we would break into the 70s, and the Lord answered that prayer. This month, we are praying to be at least at #68. Will you join with us in prayer? Please do. We need all the prayer power we can get!
